Job description

We are seeking experienced, California licensed, Employment Litigation Attorneys to join a busy employment law practice. Ideal candidates will have significant experience handling California employment litigation, with a strong emphasis on Wage & Hour matters, FEHA claims, workplace investigations, and trial preparation. The position is flexible as to remote, hybrid, and onsite possibilities. The expected base compensation is $185,000/yr. for persons in the 5-7 year experience range; $185,000 - $225,000/yr. for 8+ years of experience; and up to $250,000 - $300,000 for partners (book expected at higher ranges). The firm offers benefits, as well, the details of which it will supply to candidates; it allows opportunities for bonuses and salary increases, as well, also to be described by the firm.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Manage employment litigation matters from inception through resolution.
• Handle Wage & Hour litigation, including class and representative actions.
• Draft pleadings, motions, discovery, and other litigation documents.
• Conduct and defend depositions.
• Prepare for and support mediations, arbitrations, and trial.
• Advise clients on employment law issues and litigation strategy.
• Conduct or assist with workplace investigations, as needed.
• Collaborate with legal teams to manage case deadlines and client expectations.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Active license to practice law in California
• 5+ years of employment litigation experience
• Trial experience (strongly preferred)
• Experience handling FEHA matters
• Experience conducting workplace investigations
• Excellent legal writing, analytical, and communication skills
• Ability to manage a litigation caseload, independently, in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent teamwork and people skills

• Compensation: The expected base compensation is $185,000/yr. for persons in the 5-7 year experience range; $185,000 - $225,000/yr. for 8+ years of experience; and up to $250,000 - $300,000 for partners (book expected at higher ranges).
