Job summary

Hotard Shuttle in Port Arthur, TX is seeking a Talent Acquisition Specialist to own the full recruiting lifecycle—from sourcing and screening to candidate placement. You’ll interview candidates by phone or in person and coordinate with hiring managers to design effective recruiting processes.

You will source talent through job boards, social media, and referrals, run reports to improve metrics, and act as a brand ambassador at career fairs.

Qualifications

• Experience in full lifecycle in-house recruiting (1–3 years).
• Experience supporting HR or similar department (1+ year).
• Familiarity with recruitment techniques, job boards, social media, and ATS.
• Excellent written and spoken communication skills.
• Strong organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate with hiring managers to determine the best recruiting process.
• Screen resumes, interview candidates by phone or in person, and perform checks.
• Source candidates via job boards, social media, and referrals to ensure a diverse pool.
• Run reports and analyze data to improve recruiting metrics.
• Represent the company at career fairs and community events.
• Manage high-volume recruitment with efficiency and quality.
• Follow up with candidates and hiring managers for feedback.
• Maintain candidate activity in the ATS and ensure policy compliance.
• Maintain memberships with trade/professional organizations.
• Volunteer for increased responsibilities and assist the team when needed.
• Uphold integrity and organizational values.
