Job summary

Hotard Shuttle seeks a Talent Acquisition Specialist to lead full lifecycle recruiting for clerical and specialized roles in Sulphur, LA and Port Arthur, TX. You will source, screen, interview, and guide staff placements, leveraging data to improve hiring metrics and act as a branding ambassador at events.

The role requires strong interviewing techniques, knowledge of HR policies, and the ability to manage high-volume recruitment with integrity and confidentiality.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience.
• 1–3 years of full lifecycle in-house recruiting experience.
• Experience supporting HR or a similar function.
• Familiarity with recruitment techniques and ATS usage.
• Excellent written and spoken communication; strong organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate with hiring managers to determine the best recruiting process.
• Screen resumes, interview candidates (phone or in person), and perform assessments and background checks.
• Source candidates via job boards, social media, and employee referrals.
• Run reports and analyze data to improve recruiting metrics.
• Represent the company at career fairs and community events to attract talent.
• Manage high-volume recruitment efficiently while maintaining quality.
• Follow up with candidates and hiring managers for feedback.
• Maintain candidate activity in the ATS and retain according to policy.
• Maintain memberships with trade/professional organizations.
• Contribute to the team with increased responsibilities and integrity.
