Job summary

Nexus Talent Solutions in Houston, TX, is seeking a Talent Acquisition Specialist to manage full-cycle recruiting across field, skilled trades, technical and professional roles at multiple locations.

You will partner with hiring managers and HR to craft compelling postings, proactively source candidates, screen and interview, coordinate offers, and ensure a professional candidate experience while complying with employment laws and company policy.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in HR, Business, Communications or related field or equivalent experience.
• Minimum 3 years of full-cycle recruiting or talent acquisition experience.
• Experience recruiting for field, skilled trades, technical, professional, or operational roles preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage all phases of full-cycle recruiting—from requisition intake to pre-employment processing.
• Partner with hiring managers and HR to develop accurate job descriptions and postings.
• Proactively source candidates through job boards, networks, social media, referrals, and events.
• Screen, interview, and recommend candidates for consideration.
• Collaborate on compensation, offers, and terms within guidelines.
• Maintain timely, professional communication with candidates throughout the process.
• Keep data in the Applicant Tracking System up to date and generate reports.
• Ensure recruiting practices comply with laws and company policy.
• Represent the company at career fairs and events.
• Identify and implement improvements to recruiting processes.
