Job summary

GNS North America, Inc. in Grand Rapids, MI is seeking a Talent Acquisition Specialist to own full-cycle recruiting and onboarding for hourly, salaried, and management roles across the U.S.

You will partner with managers to attract, evaluate, hire, and onboard top candidates while delivering a positive candidate experience. You will source, screen, interview, extend offers, and coordinate onboarding, ensuring compliance with applicable laws and company policies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources Management or related field.
• 3 years of experience in talent acquisition or onboarding.
• Experience with ATS and resume databases.

Responsibilities

• Partner with hiring managers to understand staffing needs and salary expectations.
• Create and manage job postings across platforms to promote the employer brand.
• Source, screen, and interview candidates for role alignment and values.
• Prepare candidate summaries and recommendations for hiring managers.
• Coordinate interviews, extend offers, and support onboarding for new hires.
• Manage pre-employment requirements including background checks and drug screens.
• Provide timely communication to candidates, hiring managers, and HR partners.
• Deliver recruitment insights to support hiring outcomes.
• Support employment branding, referrals, and agency partnerships.
• Maintain recruiting documentation and ensure compliance with hiring laws.
