Job summary

Roessel Joy is seeking an organized Recruiter to own the full recruiting lifecycle for Direct Support Professionals and administrative roles in a North Shore nonprofit setting.

You will source candidates, screen applicants, and present qualified hires to program managers, while coordinating onboarding, I-9s, background checks and onboarding paperwork. Collaboration with HR and managers is essential.

Qualifications

• 3–7+ years of recruiting experience
• Hands-on onboarding and I-9s required
• Nonprofit or human services experience highly preferred
• UKG (UKG Ready) experience preferred
• Bachelor's degree preferred, or high school diploma/GED with relevant recruiting experience
• Highly detail-oriented, organized with strong time management
• Enthusiastic, outgoing team player with excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Flexible and able to adapt to shifting priorities in a fast-paced environment
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and Outlook or Google email, and quick to learn new systems

Responsibilities

• Manage full-cycle recruitment for Direct Support Professionals and administrative roles
• Create and post job advertisements across job boards and social media
• Source, screen and phone-interview applicants, then present qualified candidates to program managers
• Partner with hiring managers and the Scheduling Coordinator to forecast staffing needs
• Extend job offers and conduct reference checks
• Manage the onboarding process, including HRIS setup and I-9s
• Run background checks and oversee fingerprinting
• Represent the organization at local job fairs and recruitment events
