If you have 3–5 years of payroll experience and strong proficiency with Paycom and Excel, you will contribute to process improvements and overall payroll accuracy.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Business Administration, Human Resources, or a closely related field.
• 3–5 years of comprehensive payroll experience.
• Multi-state payroll processing experience with knowledge of varying state regulations, tax withholding, and wage/hour laws.
• Proven experience in data management.

Responsibilities

• Manage full-cycle weekly payroll processing with accurate employee data, timecards, commissions, bonuses, hours worked and paid leave.
• Oversee garnishment administration, ensuring withholdings are calculated, deducted, and remitted on time.
• Audit and reconcile timesheets against schedules to verify regular hours, overtime, and leave balances.
• Coordinate payroll adjustments and issue final pay upon termination per state regulations, including replacement or corrected checks.
• Resolve payroll discrepancies and respond to employee inquiries via Payroll/HRIS inbox; partner with HR for timely responses.
• Record and process federal, state, and local payroll taxes in line with deadlines.
• Collaborate with Finance and external vendors (e.g., Fidelity) for timely reporting and compliance.
