Job summary

North Carolina State Government is seeking an HR Tech II / Recruiter to manage full-cycle recruitment across multiple positions and support HR technology platforms. You will partner with hiring managers to design sourcing strategies, ensure compliant hiring, and build strong candidate experiences.

The role emphasizes data integrity across HR systems, workforce planning, and process improvements while mentoring junior HR roles.

Responsibilities

• Manage full-cycle recruitment for assigned positions, including job posting, candidate sourcing, interviewing, selection, and offer support.
• Provide specialized knowledge and support for HR technologies, including ATS.
• Partner with hiring managers to understand staffing needs, advise on recruitment strategies, and ensure timely, compliant hiring practices.
• Develop and maintain talent pipelines for recurring roles using sourcing tools, networking, referrals, and professional platforms.
• Review and screen applicants, conduct phone interviews, coordinate hiring teams, and facilitate decision-making.
• Support and maintain data integrity across HR systems, ensuring accurate recordkeeping and reporting.
• Participate in HR projects such as system implementations, process redesign, data cleanup, compliance initiatives, or employee experience enhancements.
• Mentor HR Tech I roles or interns by providing guidance on processes, technology, and recruitment best practices.
