Job summary

Vercel is seeking an Account Executive on the Commercial Scaled Install Base team to own a broad portfolio of existing customers, balancing renewals, engagement, pipeline generation, and expansion. You will run a high-volume book, negotiate renewals, and build scalable plays using data, automation, and AI to maximize ARR.

This is a true closing role with ownership of revenue outcomes, and a path to grow into increasingly complex accounts.

Responsibilities

• Own the commercial relationship for a portfolio of existing Vercel customers.
• Manage the renewal process from early preparation through negotiation and close, protecting recurring revenue.
• Build expansion pipeline by prospecting within existing accounts and developing champions.
• Run discovery, demonstrations, and negotiations across renewal and expansion opportunities.
• Use customer signals and product usage to prioritize actions across a large portfolio.
• Re-engage customers with limited activity and develop growth hypotheses.
• Build relationships with developers, engineering leaders, product teams, procurement partners, and business stakeholders.
• Partner with Solutions Architects, Developer Support, Customer Success, Product, and other teams to achieve outcomes.
• Maintain accurate account plans, forecasts, renewal timelines, and next steps in systems.
• Use automation, AI, and repeatable workflows to scale thoughtful customer engagement.
• Share learnings and help the team develop scalable plays for renewals and expansion.
• Develop the technical and commercial skills to grow into larger accounts.
