Job summary

The Staffing Specialist at Aztec Shops on the SDSU Main Campus leads full-cycle recruitment for hourly and student roles, partners with hiring managers, sources candidates and coordinates interviews, offers and onboarding, and tracks hiring metrics to improve efficiency.

Collaborating with Marketing to promote opportunities, build employer branding, and engage candidates via social media and community outreach, this role drives workforce planning and contributes to a seamless candidate

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in HR, business, or related field preferred.
• At least two years of general recruiting experience.
• Experience in hospitality, retail, or fast-paced customer service recruiting is a plus.
• Experience using Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) and recruitment tech preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage full-cycle recruitment for hourly and student positions.
• Source candidates through job boards, social media, referrals, and outreach.
• Conduct phone screens and coordinate interviews with hiring managers.
• Extend offers and coordinate onboarding.
• Track hiring metrics and prepare reports.
• Collaborate with Marketing to promote employment opportunities.
