Job summary

Done Right Food Services is seeking an experienced, dependable Full-Charge Bookkeeper to join our growing Minnesota school food-service team. You will own daily bookkeeping, manage A/P and A/R, prepare invoices, and work closely with our outside CPA to close monthly books.

The ideal candidate will have 3+ years of bookkeeping, strong QuickBooks Online skills, keen attention to detail, and the ability to work independently in a multi-location, menu-driven environment.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of bookkeeping or accounting experience.
• Strong QuickBooks Online experience.
• Experience with A/P, A/R, invoicing, and bank reconciliations.
• Solid understanding of basic accounting principles.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
• Strong Excel skills.
• Professional communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage daily bookkeeping activities using QuickBooks Online.
• Handle Accounts Payable (A/P), including entering bills, processing payments, and reconciling vendor statements.
• Manage Accounts Receivable (A/R) and customer accounts.
• Prepare and send accurate customer invoices.
• Monitor outstanding balances and follow up on past-due accounts.
• Perform bank and credit card reconciliations.
• Maintain accurate vendor and customer records.
• Review transactions and documentation for accuracy.
• Assist with payroll processing and payroll-related accounting.
• Assist with monthly closing and month-end accounting.
• Prepare reports and supporting schedules for management.
• Work with outside CPA/accounting team on year-end activities.
• Research and resolve discrepancies.
• Maintain organized and confidential financial records.
• Assist management with special accounting projects.
