Job summary

Jobot is seeking a seasoned Full Charge Bookkeeper to join our growing accounting team. You will manage A/P, A/R, payroll, journal entries, and bank reconciliations, while providing detailed financial analysis and timely reports.

This permanent role requires 5+ years of experience, a Bachelor’s in Accounting/Finance, and strong QuickBooks skills to ensure accuracy and compliance. Collaborate with tax accountants and the accounting team to optimize processes and close periods accurately.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in a bookkeeping or accounting role.
• Proficiency in QuickBooks is a must.
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Solid understanding of bookkeeping and accounting principles.
• Proven ability to calculate, post, and manage accounting figures and financial records.
• High degree of accuracy and attention to detail.
• Excellent data entry skills along with a knack for numbers.
• Proficiency in English and in MS Office, particularly Excel.
• Strong understanding of business and income tax worksheets and computations.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically.

Responsibilities

• Managing all aspects of day-to-day bookkeeping and accounting processes including but not limited to: A/P, A/R, payroll, journal entries, and bank reconciliation.
• Conducting financial analysis and preparing detailed reports on findings.
• Overseeing the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and year-end financial reports.
• Ensuring compliance with all internal processes and legal standards.
• Implementing and maintaining comprehensive financial policies and procedures.
• Collaborating with the accounting team to improve financial processes.
• Coordinating with tax accountants to optimize tax planning strategies.
• Ensuring accurate and timely monthly, quarterly, and year-end close processes.
• Assisting with other accounting projects as needed.
