Coffee Project New York is seeking an experienced Full-Charge Bookkeeper to manage day-to-day accounting for a growing multi-location coffee business. You will handle AP/AR, bank reconciliations, journal entries, month-end close, and payroll related tasks, ensuring accurate records across locations.

Ideal candidates have 3+ years in bookkeeping, proficiency with QuickBooks Online and Excel, and familiarity with NY sales tax.

Qualificações

• 3+ years of bookkeeping or accounting experience.
• Proficient in full-charge bookkeeping.
• Experience with QuickBooks Online or similar software.
• Experience reconciling POS and merchant processing.
• Familiarity with NY sales tax and payroll processes.
• Bilingual English and Chinese preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Manage the full cycle of day-to-day bookkeeping and maintain accurate financial records.
• Oversee Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR), including vendor bills and customer invoices.
• Perform bank and credit card reconciliations regularly.
• Record and reconcile sales and payments from all channels.
• Maintain the general ledger and properly categorize transactions.
• Prepare and post journal entries and account adjustments.
• Assist with month-end and year-end closing.
• Maintain inventory accounting records and assist with COGS tracking.
• Assist with payroll processing and reconciliations.
• Prepare NY sales tax filings and other tax reporting.
• Reconcile merchant processing with bank deposits.
• Track vendor payments and operating expenses.
• Prepare monthly financial reports (P&L, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow).
• Maintain supporting documentation; coordinate with CPA for tax prep and year-end.
• Assist management with budgeting and cash flow analysis; identify discrepancies.
