Qualifications

• 3+ years of bookkeeping experience, preferably with experience managing a company’s full books.
• Strong working knowledge of QuickBooks and Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets
• Experience with AR, AP, reconciliations, financial reporting, and cash-flow forecasting
• Strong attention to detail with the ability to investigate discrepancies and solve problems independently
• Excellent organization, follow-through, and ability to manage multiple financial priorities
• Comfortable communicating professionally with customers, vendors, leadership, and accounting partners
• Experience with e-commerce, wholesale, manufacturing, inventory accounting, or online marketplaces is a plus; accounting/finance education or equivalent experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records and complete monthly bookkeeping procedures
• Manage accounts receivable, including invoicing, payment tracking, collections, and resolving billing discrepancies
• Manage accounts payable, including vendor bills, payment schedules, and vendor statement reconciliations
• Reconcile bank accounts, credit cards, payment processors, and online marketplace transactions
• Monitor cash flow and maintain a rolling 13-week cash-flow forecast to help leadership plan ahead
• Prepare financial reports, including P&L, balance sheets, cash-flow, and budget-versus-actual reports
• Support inventory accounting, payroll coordination, budgeting, CPA requests, and other financial needs
