SFC LLP is seeking a motivated Full Charge Bookkeeper to manage day-to-day accounting for multiple clients in the DFW area. The role emphasizes accuracy, regulatory compliance, and timely financial reporting, including nonprofit Form 990 preparation.

Strong communication and independent work style are essential. The ideal candidate has 3+ years of full-charge bookkeeping experience, proficiency in QuickBooks and Xero, and a detail-oriented mindset capable of collaborating with clients and teams

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (preferred).
• 3+ years of full-charge bookkeeping experience, including Form 990 for nonprofits.
• Proficiency with QuickBooks, Xero, and similar accounting software.
• Excellent analytical, detail-orientated, and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform full cycle bookkeeping: AP/AR, bank reconciliations, GL entries, and payroll for multiple clients.
• Prepare and file quarterly and annual payroll reports.
• Prepare and file monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and reports for clients.
• Manage client budgets and provide recommendations to improve performance.
• Maintain accurate records of all financial transactions and ensure compliance with applicable standards/regulations.
• Collaborate with clients to identify issues and advise on best practices for financial management.
• Communicate effectively with clients, team members, and management to ensure timely task completion.

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Full Charge Bookkeeper to join our team! The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing the day-to-day accounting and bookkeeping operations of our clients' businesses, maintaining accurate financial records, preparing financial reports, and ensuring compliance with all applicable accounting standards and regulations.

This position requires a high level of attention to detail, strong analytical skills, and the ability to work independently and in a team environment.

Responsibilities

• Perform full cycle bookkeeping including accounts payable and receivable,bank reconciliations,general ledger entries, and payroll processing for multiple clients
• Preparation and filing of quarterly and annual payroll reports
• Prepare and file monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and reports for clients
• Manage client budgets and provide recommendations to improve performance
• Maintain accurate records of all financial transactions and ensure compliance with applicable accounting standards and regulations
• Work closely with clients to identify and resolve accounting issues and provide guidance on best practices for financial management
• Communicate effectively with clients, team members, and management to ensure timely completion of tasks and projects

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred
• 3+ years of experience in full charge bookkeeping, with specific experience in the preparation of Form 990 for non-profit clients, preferably in a public accounting firm
• Strong understanding ofaccounting software (QuickBooks, Xero, etc.)
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with high attention to detail
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
