Job summary

BRHE Group CPAs in Brea, California seeks an experienced Full Charge Bookkeeper to manage the full accounting cycle for multiple clients, including financial reporting, payroll, and tax compliance. The role requires accuracy and strong organizational skills.

You will maintain general ledgers, prepare monthly to annual statements, perform reconciliations, file sales tax, and support year-end closing, working closely with clients and the firm’s team.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3–5 years of bookkeeping experience (CPA firm experience preferred)
• Strong proficiency in QuickBooks (Online and Desktop)
• Experience with unsecured property tax and tax filings
• Experience with sales tax reporting
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Ability to manage multiple clients and deadlines

Responsibilities

Pay: $27.00 – $30.00 per hour (depending on experience), plus overtime

Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Full Charge Bookkeeper to join our team. This role is responsible for managing the full cycle of accounting functions for multiple clients, including financial reporting, payroll, and tax compliance.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain and manage general ledger accounts


• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements


• Perform bank and credit card reconciliations


• Prepare and file sales tax returns


• Prepare unsecured property tax (571-L) forms


• Assist with year-end closing and reporting


• Work closely with clients and internal team members
