Job summary

BRHE Group CPAs is seeking an experienced Full Charge Bookkeeper to join our team at our Brea, California office. You will manage the full cycle of accounting for multiple clients, including financial reporting, payroll, and tax compliance, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.

Ideal candidates have 3–5 years of bookkeeping experience, strong QuickBooks skills (Online and Desktop), and the ability to balance multiple deadlines in a CPA firm environment.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of bookkeeping experience (CPA firm experience preferred).
• Proficiency in QuickBooks Online and Desktop.
• Experience with unsecured property tax and tax filings.
• Experience with sales tax reporting.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to manage multiple clients and deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and manage general ledger accounts
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
• Perform bank and credit card reconciliations
• Prepare and file sales tax returns
• Prepare unsecured property tax (571-L) forms
• Assist with year-end closing and reporting
• Work closely with clients and internal team members
