Job summary

Seafields by Bishop Gadsden on Kiawah Island seeks talented Line Cooks for full- and part-time roles. This brand-new luxury community emphasizes work-life balance, consistent schedules, and competitive pay as it builds a premier dining program for residents and guests.

You’ll join a professional culinary team, preparing fresh seasonal items with safety and presentation at the forefront, while enjoying a supportive leadership culture in a state-of-the-art kitchen.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Culinary degree or related education preferred.
• Minimum of 5 years of professional line cook experience and/or entry-level supervisory experience.
• Strong knife skills preferred.
• Knowledge of soup, sauce, and recipe preparation.
• Ability to stand, bend, stoop, reach, lift, and carry up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes and quality standards
• Assist with daily food preparation and station setup
• Create hot entrées, vegetables, sandwiches, and other menu offerings
• Follow food safety and sanitation procedures at all times
• Accommodate special dietary requests and resident preferences
• Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient workstation
• Collaborate with fellow culinary team members to deliver exceptional service
• Complete assigned tasks accurately and efficiently

About the Role:

As a Line Cook, you'll play an essential role in delivering exceptional dining experiences for our residents and guests. Working alongside our culinary leadership team, you'll prepare fresh seasonal menu items while maintaining the highest standards of food quality, presentation, safety, and sanitation.
