Job summary

Seafields by Bishop Gadsden on Kiawah Island is seeking a Culinary Server to provide tableside service, take orders, and deliver meals from a chef-curated menu in a luxury senior living community.

The role emphasizes a people-first culture with a no-late-shift schedule and opportunities to grow within a supportive team environment. A high school diploma is preferred, and prior food service experience is valued.

Qualifications

• Must have prior food service experience.
• Experience working with elderly residents preferred.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide tableside service including taking orders, delivering meals, and handling checks.
• Prepare and serve beverages, including alcoholic drinks.
• Assist with dietary requests and special accommodations.
• Maintain clean and organized tables and dining areas; reset after meals.
• Operate the POS system effectively and accurately.

Essential Functions:

• Provide tableside service, including order taking, meal delivery, and check handling
• Prepare and serve beverages, including alcoholic drinks
• Assist with dietary requests
• Maintain tables throughout meals and reset them afterward
• Keep the work area clean per DHEC standards
• Effectively operate the POS system
• Remain calm and follow procedures in emergencies
• Accept additional duties and cross-train as needed

Requirements

What We Need From A Candidate:

• Must be at least 18 years of age
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• Prior food service experience preferred
• Prior working experience and/or interacting with an elderly population preferred
• Ability to stand, stoop, bend, reach, squat, climb, reach above, carry, and lift (up to 50 pounds +/-)
