Job summary

Seafields by Bishop Gadsden is hiring a Restaurant Server for Independent Living/Fine Dining/Bar/Patio on Kiawah Island. The role offers a no-late-shift schedule and a focus on delivering chef-curated dining experiences to residents.

You will join a people-first team in a luxury senior living community, with benefits, PTO, and opportunities for growth within a vibrant culture.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• Prior food service experience preferred
• Prior working experience with elderly population preferred

Responsibilities

• Provide tableside service, including order taking, meal delivery, and check handling
• Prepare and serve beverages, including alcoholic drinks
• Assist with dietary requests
• Maintain tables throughout meals and reset them afterward
• Keep the work area clean per DHEC standards
• Effectively operate the POS system
• Remain calm and follow procedures in emergencies
• Accept additional duties and cross-train as needed

Requirements

What We Need From A Candidate:

• Must be at least 18 years of age
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• Prior food service experience preferred
• Prior working experience and/or interacting with an elderly population preferred
• Ability to stand, stoop, bend, reach, squat, climb, reach above, carry, and lift (up to 50 pounds +/-)
