Job summary

IKEA is hiring a part-time warehouse associate in Merriam, KS. You will support order fulfillment across channels, ensure accurate receiving and replenishment, and pick customer orders with a focus on speed and accuracy.

You’ll work a 12–19 hour weekly schedule, including nights and weekends, in a retail warehouse setting. Responsibilities include stocking, moving products, operating scanners, and maintaining inventory.

Qualifications

• 2 years of experience in high volume warehouse or receiving/replenishment.
• Physical Demands: Lifting, Pushing/Pulling, Sliding/Transferring and Carrying Occasionally (up to 50lbs)
• Certification in at least one power mobile equipment (forklift, electric pallet jack, etc.) preferred

Responsibilities

• Contributing to the fulfillment of customer orders across sales channels in the retail store.
• Ensure inventory accuracy at receiving and moving product to final selling locations.
• Perform stock replenishment according to visual merchandising guidance.
• Pick and prepare customer orders within the required timeframe.
• Handle goods including unloading, transporting, replenishing, staging, and stocking.
• Operate scanner equipment and inventory management tools; certify powered equipment as needed.

What you'll be doing day to day

Contributing to the fulfillment of customer orders in different sales channels in the retail store by ensuring an efficiently executed product availability and replenishment process.

• Receiving inbound goods and ensures inventory accuracy at point of receiving.
• Moving product to final selling location (in storage or on the floor in all areas).
• Performing sales space replenishment with flexibility and according to visual merchandising guidance.
• Pick and preparing customer orders within the agreed timeframe to secure an excellent customer experience.
• Handling goods (unloading, transporting, replenishing, stocking in, stocking out, picking, loading).
• Operating scanner equipment and inventory management tools including IT systems
• Certifying all powered mobile equipment including forklifts and pallet jacks

JOB TYPE: Permanent – Part-Time (limited benefits)

Department Hours of Operation: 5am-1pm

The pay range for this role is $19.96 to $25.45
