Job summary

IKEA awaits a dedicated warehouse associate in Merriam, KS, to support order fulfillment across sales channels and maintain product availability. You will handle inbound goods, movement to selling locations, and timely picking of customer orders to ensure an outstanding shopping experience.

Role requires experience in high-volume warehouses, capability with powered equipment, and flexibility for nights & weekends in a retail environment. Full-time hours, benefits eligible.

Qualifications

• 2 years of experience in high-volume warehouse or receiving/replenishment.
• Physical Demands: Lifting, Pushing/Pulling, Sliding/Transferring and Carrying occasionally up to 50 lbs.
• Certification in at least one powered mobile equipment (forklift, electric pallet jack, etc.) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Contributing to the fulfillment of customer orders across sales channels in the retail store.
• Receive inbound goods and ensure inventory accuracy at point of receiving.
• Move products to final selling locations and refresh stock on floor or in storage.
• Perform shelf replenishment with guidance from visual merchandising.
• Pick and prepare customer orders within the agreed timeframe to ensure great customer experience.
• Operate scanner equipment and inventory management tools; handle goods including unloading and stocking.

What you'll be doing day to day

Contributing to the fulfillment of customer orders in different sales channels in the retail store by ensuring an efficiently executed product availability and replenishment process.

• Receiving inbound goods and ensures inventory accuracy at point of receiving.
• Moving product to final selling location (in storage or on the floor in all areas).
• Performing sales space replenishment with flexibility and according to visual merchandising guidance.
• Pick and preparing customer orders within the agreed timeframe to secure an excellent customer experience.
• Handling goods (unloading, transporting, replenishing, stocking in, stocking out, picking, loading).
• Operating scanner equipment and inventory management tools including IT systems
• Certifying all powered mobile equipment including forklifts and pallet jacks

JOB TYPE: Permanent - Full-Time (benefits eligible)

HOURS: 34-40 hrs/week (FT) - limited openings for each

Department Hours of Operation: 5am-1pm

The pay range for this role is $19.96 to $25.45
