Job summary

Global Payments is seeking an Order Fulfillment Technician to deploy payment technology solutions and manage hardware/software configurations for customer-ready deployments.

You will configure devices, validate imaging and software setups, and perform QA testing to ensure readiness. The role emphasizes inventory accuracy, cross-team teamwork, and fast-paced operations within a global payments environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification preferred.
• 2+ years of experience in technology deployment, IT support, fulfillment operations, or a related field.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving across hardware, software, and connectivity issues.

Responsibilities

• Execute end-to-end fulfillment and deployment activities, including picking, packing, shipping, and preparing payment technology solutions for customer delivery.
• Configure, stage, and validate POS devices, payment terminals, and peripherals, including imaging systems, installing software, and setting up customer-specific applications.
• Perform quality assurance testing and troubleshooting to ensure all hardware, software, and connectivity components are fully functional prior to shipment.
• Maintain accurate inventory records, perform cycle counts, and ensure compliance with asset tracking and inventory control processes.
• Partner cross-functionally with operations, product, implementation, and support teams to resolve issues, improve processes, and ensure successful customer deployments.
