Job summary

Global Payments is seeking an Order Fulfillment Technician to deploy payment technology solutions and manage hardware/software configurations for customer-ready deployments.

You will configure devices, validate imaging and software setups, and perform QA testing to ensure readiness. The role emphasizes inventory accuracy, cross-team teamwork, and fast-paced operations within a global payments environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification preferred.
• 2+ years of experience in technology deployment, IT support, fulfillment operations, or a related field.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving across hardware, software, and connectivity issues.

Responsibilities

• Execute end-to-end fulfillment and deployment activities, including picking, packing, shipping, and preparing payment technology solutions for customer delivery.
• Configure, stage, and validate POS devices, payment terminals, and peripherals, including imaging systems, installing software, and setting up customer-specific applications.
• Perform quality assurance testing and troubleshooting to ensure all hardware, software, and connectivity components are fully functional prior to shipment.
• Maintain accurate inventory records, perform cycle counts, and ensure compliance with asset tracking and inventory control processes.
• Partner cross-functionally with operations, product, implementation, and support teams to resolve issues, improve processes, and ensure successful customer deployments.

What you'll own

What you'll bring

High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification preferred. 2+ years of experience in technology deployment, IT support, fulfillment operations, or a related field. Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills across hardware, software, and connectivity issues. Ability to manage multiple tasks, maintain attention to detail, and work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment. Schedule: Mon - Fri 11am - 8pm EST It's a bonus if you have Experience supporting payment technology, merchant services, or retail technology deployments. Familiarity with networking fundamentals, device connectivity, or remote troubleshooting. Experience with inventory systems or platforms such as NetSuite, Salesforce, or similar tools. Hands-on experience configuring POS systems, payment terminals, or similar hardware and software environments.
