The fulfillment team picks, preps, packs, sorts, and ships products safely, efficiently, and effectively to deliver convenience and quality for our guests.

Role of a Fulfillment Operations Team Leader

This role provides skills and experience in:

  • Guest service fundamentals and building a guest-first culture
  • Retail business fundamentals including sales trends, inventory management, shopping patterns, pricing, and promotions
  • Planning daily/weekly workload to support business priorities and sales goals
  • Process improvements and workload efficiency
  • Leading a team of hourly team members, including interviewing, developing, coaching, evaluating, and retaining talent
Typical Responsibilities

As a Fulfillment Operations Team Leader, your day may include:

  • Demonstrating a service culture that prioritizes guest experience
  • Leading your team to meet fulfillment goals and support sales growth
  • Utilizing workload planning tools to ensure all orders are fulfilled timely
  • Reviewing fulfillment reports to identify gaps and develop solutions
  • Creating daily team plans
  • Ensuring operational accuracy, process, and efficiency
  • Leading pickup and ship from store workloads
  • Evaluating and recommending candidates, supporting onboarding
  • Establishing goals around quality, accuracy, and timeliness
  • Working a flexible schedule including early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays
  • Ordering and stocking supplies, following safety and security protocols
  • Valuing diversity, promoting inclusivity, and maintaining safety and compliance standards
  • Supporting emergency and compliance needs, guest services, and creating a welcoming environment
  • Performing other duties as needed
Qualifications

  • Access to all areas of the store for issue resolution

  • Climbing ladders and moving merchandise up to 44 pounds alone, and 45-100 pounds with assistance
  • Operating communication devices and scanners
