Job summary

ShipBob, Inc. in Moreno Valley, CA seeks an Operations Manager to lead a distribution center team, drive productivity, and ensure service excellence for merchants. You will direct staffing, safety, KPIs, and continuous improvement efforts to hit revenue goals and maintain quality.

Qualifications include 4+ years in leadership, a degree in business/ops, and experience with safety in a distribution center environment. The role offers a base salary of $75k–$84.5k with a discretionary bonus plan.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of leadership experience in a DC/fulfillment setting.
• Degree in Business, Operations, Supply Chain or related field preferred.
• Experience with safety procedures within a distribution center environment.
• Track record of ownership and delivering results.
• Understanding of Lean and Six Sigma principles.

Responsibilities

• Direct several operational aspects including distribution operations, customer service, human resources, and recruiting.
• Ensure we meet and exceed merchants' expectations.
• Manage performance KPIs, identify and track key metrics and plan continuous improvement.
• Use data-driven reports and analyses to identify growth opportunities and propose solutions.
• Hire, train, coach and motivate team members; set goals and manage performance.
• Establish and enforce safety standards and procedures in compliance with health and legal requirements.
• Share best practices with other locations and HQ.
• Ensure processes from receiving to shipping maintain safety, quality and legality; escalate product-related issues.
• Additional duties as necessary.
