Job summary

ShipBob, located in Fort Worth, TX, is seeking an Operations Leader to manage staff, foster a positive work environment, and drive customer satisfaction. You will oversee distribution, HR, and recruiting, while setting goals and coaching the team to hit revenue targets.

The role emphasizes data-driven improvements, safety, and knowledge sharing across locations. You will report to the Senior Operations Manager, Fulfillment Operations, and support multiple shifts, including nights and weekends,

Qualifications

• 4+ years of leadership experience.
• Degree in Business, Operations, Supply Chain, General Management or related field, preferred.
• Ownership mindset with a proven track record of delivering results.
• Understanding of Lean and Six Sigma.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Able to stand and walk 8–10 hr shifts.
• Able to bend, stoop, reach, and push/pull frequently.

Responsibilities

• Direct several operational aspects including distribution operations, customer service, human resources, and recruiting.
• Ensure that we meet and exceed our merchant’s expectations.
• Manage performance KPIs, identify and track key metrics and plan continuous improvement efforts for your facility.
• Use data driven reports and analyses to identify avenues for continuous improvement and propose solutions that meet challenges and leverage growth opportunities.
• Hire, train, coach and motivate team members in your facility; you will be responsible for setting the team’s goals and managing them.
• Establish, follow and enforce safety standards and procedures in compliance with a healthy work environment and legal requirements.
• Share knowledge with other locations and headquarters on effective practices, competitive intelligence, business opportunities and needs.
• Accountable for ensuring that all operational processes, including receiving, storage, handling, and shipping, maintain the safety, quality, and legality of products. Supports adherence to standard operating procedures and ensures timely escalation of any product-related issues.
