Job summary

ShipBob is seeking a hands-on Operations Leader to oversee distribution operations, customer service, HR, and recruitment. You will manage performance metrics, push for continuous improvement, and drive safe, compliant processes to meet revenue goals.

With 4+ years in leadership and a lean/six sigma mindset, you will lead a team, coach staff, and align efforts with ShipBob’s culture. The role requires lifting up to 50 lbs and flexibility for shifts, including nights and weekends.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of leadership experience.
• Experience with safety procedures within a distribution center environment.
• Understanding of Lean and Six Sigma.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand/walk for long shifts.

Responsibilities

• Direct multiple operational aspects including distribution operations, customer service, human resources, and recruiting.
• Meet and exceed merchant expectations.
• Manage performance KPIs and drive continuous improvement.
• Use data-driven reports to identify growth opportunities and implement solutions.
• Hire, train, coach, and motivate team members; set goals and manage performance.
• Enforce safety standards and ensure legal compliance.
• Share best practices with other locations and HQ.
