Job summary

Gopuff is seeking Operations Associates (OAs) to join the operations team in Houston. OAs report to a Site Leader and perform a range of tasks including picking, packing, receiving product, and coordinating with drivers.

Responsibilities include inventory management, shelving, waste control with FIFO, and ensuring safety standards are followed. You may work in kitchen areas and freezer locations as required, with shifts that cover peak times.

Qualifications

• Experience in restaurant or retail environment
• Ability to work a fluid schedule including peak shifts (1st, 2nd, 3rd)
• Basic knowledge of web-based software (Google G-Suite)
• Stand and walk for the duration of a shift
• Lift up to 49 pounds
• Flexible hours including mornings, evenings, weekends, holidays

Responsibilities

• Pick and pack items for dispatch to customers
• Receive and unpack pallets from vendors and resolve discrepancies
• Manage inventory and re-shelving of canceled orders
• Clean and organize the facility and sales floor
• Follow FIFO for waste and spoilage
• Handle, scan and move product safely
• Work in freezer locations as needed
• Prepare beverages and food menu items per recipes and standards
