Job summary

ShipBob is seeking an Area Manager to lead a 30+ person warehouse team in Bethlehem, PA. You will drive performance, coach leaders, and ensure safety and quality in a fast-paced fulfillment environment.

You will report to the Director of Sort Center Operations and collaborate across departments to maintain efficiency and support scalable growth. This role requires rotating shifts and physical capability to lift up to 50 lbs.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of people management and operational leadership in a high-volume 3PL environment.
• Ability to manage performance, give feedback, and develop talent.
• Strong aptitude with MS Word, Excel, Power BI, and TMS systems.

Responsibilities

• Manage and develop a team of 30+ warehouse associates (Temp and FTE).
• Review weekly work forecasts and identify productivity needs to hit building goals.
• Partner with other Area Managers to balance labor and meet goals.
• Own operational metric reporting (VCPO, UPH, OPH, on-time receiving/shipping).
• Coach and hold teams accountable; drive performance toward targets.
• Develop Lead talent with tools, training, and resources.
