Job summary

The Lawrence Paper Company is seeking a Fulfillment Line Lead in Lawrence, KS. The role involves guiding a packaging line, coordinating setup, and ensuring quality and safety throughout the shift. You will supervise line staff, drive productivity, and maintain efficient operations to meet daily goals.

Qualifications

• Experience in manufacturing or fulfillment.
• Experience leading and training others.
• Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing standards, including 5S.
• Ability to read and understand instructions.
• Effective communication with staff at all levels.
• Safety and quality focused.
• Dependable and able to work with little supervision.
• Ability to troubleshoot.
• Basic math and use of simple handheld measuring tools.

Responsibilities

• Locate, read, and understand all information in the pack out instructions.
• Identify equipment and supplies required for line set up.
• Perform quality checks.
• Set and adjust pallet wrapper and replace roll of strap as needed.
• Direct incoming and outgoing material from the line.
• Achieve daily production goals.
• Implement improvements for productivity.
• Ensure productivity and efficiency on the line.
• Coach, train, and lead others.
• Communicate with various staff members to replenish supplies and materials on the line.
