Job summary

Gopuff in New York seeks an Operations Associate to join the operations team. You will pick and pack items for dispatch, receive inventory, and help maintain a safe, organized site across shifts.

You will handle pallets, use carts and pallet jacks, and ensure accurate inventory and sanitation standards. Prior experience in restaurant or retail is helpful but not required. Flexibility for mornings/evenings/weekends is expected.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
• Experience in restaurant or retail environment preferred but not required.
• Ability to work a fluid schedule including peak shifts.
• Stand and walk for the duration of the shift.
• Lift up to 49 pounds.
• Flexible hours including mornings, evenings, weekends, nights and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Pick and pack items for dispatch to customers.
• Receive and unpack pallets; verify inventory vs invoices and resolve discrepancies.
• Manage inventory and re-shelving of canceled orders.
• Maintain and clean the sales floor and facility.
• Follow FIFO to manage waste and spoilage.
• Contact customers for substitutions or out-of-stock items.
• Move and handle products with carts, pallet jacks, and other equipment.
• Work in freezer locations as needed.
• Prepare, package and stage orders for delivery.
