Job summary

Amazon.com Services LLC is seeking a Site Leader for a Fulfillment Center in Georgia. You will oversee 1,000+ salaried and hourly employees, manage the operations budget, and drive safety, productivity, and customer experience improvements in a fast-paced facility up to a million square feet.

You will mentor leaders, partner with HR/Finance/Safety, and lead initiatives across inbound or outbound operations with a focus on long-term strategic planning and cost savings.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or Advanced Degree is required
• 7+ years of Global Supply Chain, Manufacturing, Production/Procurement, Distribution, Logistics or related environment/operations experience
• Experience in a Global Supply Chain, Manufacturing, Production/Procurement, Distribution, Logistics or related environment/operations

Responsibilities

• Owns and delivers the operational budget for functional area, including safety, productivity, financial and labor planning, and operational goals for outbound, or inbound operations
• Provides strategic level/long-term planning (3, 6, and 12 months out) including labor planning, rate forecasting, and peak season planning
• Drives continuous improvement projects to optimize operations and improve productivity to meet and exceed business objectives
• Networks with other leaders across the network to solicit and share process improvements and drive efficiencies and cost savings
• Establishes objectives and metrics for safety, quality, productivity, and customer experience
• Sets clear goals and expectations for Operations and Area Managers; measures performance and provides feedback

Education

Bachelor's degree or Advanced Degree

MBA or Master’s degree preferred
