Job summary

Amazon is seeking a Site Leader to oversee the operations of a Fulfillment Center in Canton, MS. You will manage 1,000+ salaried and hourly employees, champion safety, productivity, and customer experience, and drive strategic initiatives across inbound/outbound operations.

You will lead a team of Operations and Area Managers, partner with HR, Finance, Maintenance Engineering, Safety, IT, and other leaders, and deliver on budget and performance targets while advancing leadership development and

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or Advanced Degree required.
• 7+ years of Global Supply Chain, Manufacturing, Production/Procurement, Distribution, Logistics or related operations experience.
• Experience leading a large, salaried and hourly workforce across multiple functional areas.

Responsibilities

• Owns and delivers the operational budget for the functional area.
• Long-term planning (3, 6, 12 months) including labor and peak season planning.
• Drives continuous improvement projects to optimize operations and productivity.
• Networks with leaders to share process improvements and drive efficiencies and cost savings.
• Establishes objectives and metrics for safety, quality, productivity, and customer experience.
• Mentors and develops leaders and staff; participates in recruiting.
