Job summary

QVC Group, Inc. is seeking an Operations Manager to support inbound/outbound operations at the Ontario, CA fulfillment center. Build and lead the initial teams, set procedures, and ensure top inventory accuracy and safety standards.

You will guide planning, forecast demand, and develop staff for career growth while driving improvements in safety, cost, and delivery. Use WMS to optimize orders and maintain a customer-focused operation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain, Distribution, Logistics or related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• 4+ years of management experience in fulfillment center/warehouse operations; prefer retail/e-commerce and apparel experience.
• Experience developing and managing 50+ employees.
• At least 3 years of management experience in Receiving, Inventory Control, or Order Fulfillment.
• Experience using Kaizens or process improvement.

Responsibilities

• Build the initial teams, establishing procedures, metrics and processes.
• Lead a team of Area Managers and hourly associates.
• Develop and administer operational procedures for incoming and outgoing shipments, handling and disposition of products, and keeping the highest standards of inventory accuracy.
• Guide strategic planning and forecasting.
• Develop teammates for career progression and learning.
• Improve safety, quality, cost, and delivery while growing and expanding capabilities within the warehouse.
• Use the site Warehouse Management System (WMS) to improve perfect order fulfillment and provide operational insights to improve WMS effectiveness.
• Champions a customer-focused mentality across the team, ensuring operational decisions and process improvements consistently support a high-quality customer experience.
