Job summary

Chewy is seeking an Area Manager for our Mt. Juliet, TN Fulfillment Center. The role leads hourly associates in receiving and storage/shipping, ensuring productivity, labor and quality objectives are met.

You will foster a positive work environment and recognize team achievements to drive engagement. Responsibilities include leading day-to-day operations, enforcing standards, coaching staff, and driving process improvements.

Qualifications

• 2–4 years of supervisory experience in a warehouse or distribution center.
• Excellent interpersonal and written communication skills.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office and timekeeping software.
• Willing to work nights and weekends; travel may be required.
• Bilingual in Spanish is a bonus.

Responsibilities

• Lead hourly associates to meet productivity, safety, and quality goals.
• Establish and enforce standards for operations.
• Collaborate with team to drive process improvements.
• Unloading and put-away accuracy and timeliness.
• Provide orientation and training for new hires.
• Monitor safety, quality metrics, and performance.
• Document attendance, efficiency, behavior, and safety.
• Maintain positive employee relations and communication.
