Chewy is seeking an Area Manager for our Belton, MO Fulfillment Center. You will lead hourly associates in receiving, storage and shipping, and drive productivity, labor and quality objectives. You will foster a positive work environment and support your team through coaching and open communication.

The role requires supervising a warehouse team, with flexibility for nights/weekends, and travel as needed. Chewy values teamwork, safety, and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• 2-4 years' supervisory experience preferably in a warehouse or distribution center environment.
• Excellent interpersonal expertise, oral and written communication skills, and strong attention to detail.
• Intermediate skills in working on computers - Microsoft Office package and time keeping software solutions.
• Ability to work flexible schedule to include nights and weekends if business require it.
• Position may require travel.
• Bonus: Bilingual in Spanish.

Responsibilities

• Lead all aspects of the direction of hourly associates in receiving, storage and shipping of product.
• Meet and exceed established productivity, labor and quality objectives.
• Uphold a positive, motivating leadership presence with the team.
• Ensure standards are established and followed.
• Train hourly associates and verify standards are understood and adhered to.
• Investigate processes and drive improvements through associate feedback and data.
• Complete required documentation for tracking attendance, efficiency, behavior, and safety.
