Job summary

Shirley Contracting Company is seeking a Fuel Truck Driver to operate commercial vehicles safely on various Virginia job sites. The role requires DOT compliance, inspections, log maintenance, and fueling heavy equipment.

Manual transmission is preferred and a clean driving record is essential. The position offers full-time, year-round work starting at 6:00 AM with overtime and weekend potential, plus competitive benefits and 401K contributions.

Qualifications

• CDL with Tanker and HazMat endorsements required/preferred.
• Pass pre-employment DOT physical and drug screening.
• Clean driving record with no major violations in last 7 years.

Responsibilities

• Complete daily pre- and post-trip inspections and maintain reports.
• Maintain mileage and fuel logs.
• Safely operate vehicle in traffic, on construction sites, and tight spaces in Virginia.
