Job summary

Pilot Thomas Logistics seeks an experienced Manager, Pricing to drive data-driven price decisions across a broad wholesale fuel portfolio. You will oversee bid development, analyze market dynamics, and coordinate with sales, operations, and finance to optimize revenue and costs.

Lead a pricing team, ensure data accuracy, and enforce compliance with pricing regulations while delivering regular strategic reports to senior management. Competition and market intelligence will guide your actions.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5–7 years of wholesale fuel pricing or related financial analysis
• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or related field
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel
• Experience with pricing/rack pricing systems and market data services such as OPIS/Platts or PM.net
• Experience with BI/reporting tools (Power BI, Tableau)
• Strong analytical and quantitative skills with attention to detail
• Experience leading or supervising a team

Responsibilities

• Oversee new lead development for government agencies and other data-driven customer types
• Analyze market trends to support strategic purchasing and sales decisions
• Collaborate with sales, operations, and finance to produce competitive bids and identify opportunities for revenue growth and cost savings
• Conduct in-depth market analysis to deliver optimal results in RFP processes
• Prepare and present regular reports for senior management with key findings and recommendations
• Ensure accuracy of all commercial data used by the sales organization
• Ensure pricing practices comply with fuel tax and pricing regulations
• Lead and develop the pricing team and align with HR on performance and development
• Strategic pricing and margin analysis
