Job summary

Sunoco LP is seeking a Dispatcher to schedule bulk fuel deliveries, assist drivers with directions, and provide logistics support for fuel, heating oil, and lubricants across the service area.

The role requires coordinating daily truck movements, handling orders, and maintaining driver/customer relationships while adhering to DOT regulations. On-call duties are required. Sunoco offers competitive benefits and a collaborative work environment.

• Class A CDL is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and administer gas and fuel traffic functions for freight delivery.
• Record customer orders and dispatch to drivers, provide BOL to admin team.
• Coordinate deliveries to keep drivers within DOT hours.
• Assist with exemption requests when lines are long and supply is exhausted.
• Resolve transit or delivery issues and disseminate solutions.
• Report problems to supervisor and follow up on resolutions.
• Monitor GPS units to optimize orders and locate drivers.
• Schedule inbound and outbound trucks daily.
• Maintain relationships with drivers and customers to meet needs.
• Provide safety and incident reporting as required.
