Qualifications

• Previous dispatcher or Class A/B driver experience.
• Ability to multitask and stay calm under pressure.
• Excellent communication and professional phone etiquette.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and ability to learn new software quickly.
• High school diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Route Management: Strategically determine and manage daily routes for 5-10 drivers with real-time adjustments.
• Operational Oversight: Monitor driver progress, time/attendance, and coordinate with account managers.
• Customer and Driver Support: Primary contact for customer calls and driver communications.
• Safety & Efficiency: Promote safety culture and improve productivity of driving staff.
• Data & Reporting: Monitor fuel prices/loading preferences and assist data collection for incentive programs.
