Job summary

Plug Power Inc. is seeking a Field Service Technician to support fuel cell products in electric lift trucks. You will install and service at a specific location, report breakdowns, order parts, and maintain fuel cells while ensuring safety and quality on site.

The role involves diagnostics, field retrofits, and software/hardware upgrades, with on-call support and travel as required. Strong communication and independent work are essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent with electrical coursework.
• 3+ years of mechanical and electrical troubleshooting.
• Valid driver license with clean record.
• Ability to lift 50 pounds regularly.
• Knowledge of lift truck operation preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintenance and service of fuel cells at customer sites.
• Diagnostics, troubleshooting, and evaluations to maintain fleet at location.
• Perform field retrofits and software/hardware upgrades.
• Provide on-call and emergency support as required.
• Travel as needed, represent Plug Power professionally.
