Plug Power Inc. is seeking a Field Service Technician to support fuel cell products in electric lift trucks at a fixed location in McCarran, NV.

The role involves preventative maintenance, breakdown resolution, and reporting of issues, with significant interaction with customer personnel and operators. Responsibilities include diagnostics, field retrofits, software/hardware upgrades, part purchases, and safety adherence.

Qualifications

• High school diploma with technical electrical coursework.
• 3+ years in mechanical and electrical troubleshooting.
• Valid driver's license with clean driving record.
• Must be able to lift 50 pounds regularly.
• Knowledge of lift truck operation is highly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintenance and service of fuel cells at customer sites.
• Diagnostics, troubleshooting and evaluations to maintain the fleet at a location.
• Perform field retrofits and software/hardware upgrades to fuel cells.
• Provide on-call and emergency support to customers as required.
• Purchase tools, equipment and parts for service as needed.
• Troubleshoot high-pressure hydrogen storage, 480VAC and related systems.
• Communicate with customer personnel and hydrogen suppliers regarding support.
• Maintain service logs, incident reports and site documentation.
• Ensure safety procedures are followed in the field.
