Job summary

The role includes preventative maintenance, troubleshooting, and on-site service, with a focus on safety and reliability. Candidates must have a high school diploma with electrical coursework, 3+ years of mechanical/electrical troubleshooting, and a valid driver’s license.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent with technical electrical coursework.
• 3+ years of direct mechanical and electrical troubleshooting experience.
• Valid driver license with clean driving record.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds regularly.
• Must provide own basic tools; Fuel cell tools provided by Plug Power.

Responsibilities

• Maintenance and service of fuel cells at customer sites.
• Diagnostics, troubleshooting, and evaluations to maintain the fleet at a location.
• Field retrofits and software/hardware upgrades to existing fuel cells.
• Provide on-call and emergency support as required.
• Procure tools, equipment, and parts for service as required.
• Travel as needed to customer sites and drive safely.
