Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• Three or more years of related work experience preferred
• Ability to perform tire duties and light maintenance preferred
• Proficiency in English communication skills
• Customer service skills required
• Must be 18 or older
• Basic computer skills and ability to understand codes and instructions
• Work flexible schedules, including weekends and holidays
• Ability to operate at different locations and build professional relationships
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Flexibility and self-drive in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent organizational and multitasking skills
• Detail-oriented with good follow-up skills
• Valid Commercial Driver License (CDL) Class A preferred
• Position requires driving Ryder vehicles, with ability to obtain CDL within 6 months, and passing Ryder's drug test, physical, road test, and background checks

Responsibilities

• Maintain vehicle fuel and DEF inventories, record activity, check oil
• Maintain fuel island area to standards and perform facility maintenance
• Conduct multi-point inspections and tire repairs/replacements
• Assist with environmental compliance and preventive maintenance
• Conduct fleet analysis and report issues
• Wash and detail vehicles, including windows and moving heavy vehicles
• Mentor lower-level employees and technicians as needed
