Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• Three or more years of related work experience preferred
• Ability to perform tire duties preferred
• Ability to perform light maintenance (e.g., trailer PMs, wiper blades, headlights, marker lights) preferred
• Proficiency in English (written and verbal); ability to understand customer communication
• Demonstrated customer service skills
• Must be 18 years or older
• Understanding of computer hardware and software, especially word processing, spreadsheets, and email; ability to read and understand codes and instructions; basic computer skills and data entry ability; thorough and dependable
• Ability to work flexible schedules, including shifts, weekends, and holidays
• Ability to work at different locations
• Ability to create and maintain professional relationships at all organizational levels
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Flexibility and self-drive in a fast-paced environment
• Highly organized with excellent time management, detail-oriented, with good follow-up practices
• Valid CDL Class A preferred
• This is a DOT safety-regulated position; must be able to obtain CDL within 6 months, pass drug and physical tests, and background checks

Responsibilities

• Maintain vehicle fuel and DEF inventories; record fuel activity; check oil
• Maintain fuel island area to standards; perform facility maintenance
• Perform multi-point inspections on inbound units
• Check tire pressure, perform minor repairs and replacements, wheel alignments, manage tire inventory
• Assist with environmental compliance and preventive maintenance
• Conduct fleet analysis and report issues
• Wash and detail vehicles, including washing windows and moving heavy vehicles
• Mentor and assist lower-level employees on tires; perform other duties as assigned
