Qualifications

Responsibilities

  • Hourly Pay: $22.10 per hour
  • Schedule: Tuesday–Saturday
  • Hours: First Shift 6:00 am – 2:30 pm

Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • Three or more years of related work experience preferred
  • Ability to perform tire duties and light maintenance preferred
  • Proficiency in English, both written and verbal; ability to understand customer communication
  • Demonstrated customer service skills
  • Must be 18 years or older
  • Basic computer skills, including word processing, spreadsheets, email; ability to read codes and instructions
  • Ability to work flexible schedules, including shifts, weekends, holidays
  • Ability to operate at different locations and create professional relationships
  • Work independently and as part of a team
  • Flexibility and self-drive in a fast-paced environment
  • Highly organized with excellent time management and attention to detail
  • Valid Commercial Driver License (CDL) Class A preferred
  • This is a DOT safety-regulated position; candidates must pass Ryder's drug test, physical, road test, background check, and motor vehicle check, including drug and alcohol verification from previous employers for the last 3 years
Responsibilities
  • Maintain fuel and DEF inventories, record activity, check oil
  • Maintain fuel island area to Six Sigma standards
  • Perform multi-point inspections on inbound units
  • Check tire pressure, perform minor repairs, replacements, wheel alignments, and manage tire inventory
  • Assist with environmental compliance and perform preventive maintenance
  • Conduct fleet analysis and report issues to management
  • Wash and detail vehicles, including windows and moving heavy-duty vehicles
  • Mentor and assist lower-level employees and technicians on tires
  • Perform other duties as assigned
