FUJIFILM Biotechnologies Texas is seeking a results‑driven FTZ and trade compliance professional to own daily FTZ operations in College Station, TX. You will ensure compliant FTZ activation, maintain records, and coordinate with CBP, the FTZ Grantee, and FDA to support regulatory adherence.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 4 years in trade compliance and/or FTZ operations within pharma/biotech or other highly regulated industries.
• Hands-on FTZ experience, including ICRS administration, e‑214 admissions, FTZ Activity Permit, and in‑bond movements.
• Strong knowledge of 19 CFR Parts 146 and 152; HTS/ECCN classification; country‑of‑origin/marking; and PGA interactions (FDA).
• Systems proficiency: FTZ ICRS (QAD, Integration Point, QuestaWeb) and SAP or comparable ERP.
• Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
• Bachelor’s degree in related field; equivalent experience considered.
• Certifications preferred: Licensed Customs Broker, NAFTZ/NCBFAA training, IATA/DOT training or similar credentials.

Responsibilities

• Administer the FTZ inventory control and recordkeeping system (ICRS): create/validate e‑214 admissions, reconcile receipts/issues/adjustments, and maintain zone status with serial/lot controls.
• Coordinate bonded movements end‑to‑end, including in‑bond shipments from port of entry to zone, bonded carrier oversight, zone admissions, and zone‑to‑zone transfers.
• Maintain FTZ governance: update SOPs, deliver site training, manage metrics, and coordinate FTZ/CBP/FTZB filings.
• Serve as daily point of contact with CBP Port of Houston, the FTZ Grantee, and FDA, including data alignment for audits.
• Lead CBP/FDA audits and port inquiries; conduct internal reviews; drive CAPA; maintain audit evidence.
• Support execution and maintenance of FTZ Operator Agreement and bonds; ensure signage and security meet 19 CFR 146.
• Lead product classification: determine HS/HTSUS, ECCN, and Schedule B; maintain Product Classification Matrix.
• Support valuation/origin determinations, including computed value methods and country-of-origin decisions.
• Strengthen export controls and screening: advising on license checks for dual‑use items.
• Perform risk-based audits for imports/exports and deliver training; file post‑summary corrections as needed.
