Simtra BioPharma Solutions in Bloomington, IN, is seeking a FTZ Manager to oversee all aspects of the Foreign Trade Zone program. The role ensures CBP compliance, accurate inventory controls, and cross-functional collaboration with brokers, auditors, and internal teams.

The position is on-site in Bloomington, Indiana, and requires deep FTZ regulatory knowledge, strong leadership, and the ability to drive process improvements across supply chain and operations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain or related field.
• 3–5 years managing a Foreign Trade Zone operation.
• In-depth FTZ regs (19 CFR Part 146) and CBP knowledge.
• Proficient with FTZ inventory software and customs systems.
• Strong detail orientation and communication.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily FTZ activities in compliance with CBP and FTZ Board.
• Maintain FTZ inventory records and perform cycle counts.
• Prepare regulatory reports and CBP documentation.
• Coordinate with CBP, FTZ Board, brokers, and auditors.
• Develop and enforce FTZ SOPs and controls.
• Train warehouse and operations teams on FTZ protocols.
• Monitor regulatory changes and adapt procedures.
• Support FTZ activation, expansion, and site surveys.
• Collaborate with IT to maintain FTZ inventory system.
• Lead and develop the FTZ team.
• Work with supply chain, finance, legal and external partners.
