GEODIS is seeking an Operations Manager - Foreign-Trade Zone (FTZ) to direct FTZ operations, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and profitability. The role entails leading the FTZ team, establishing new accounts, and coordinating with CBP and the FTZ Board on setup, filings, and annual reports.

The candidate should have 4–7 years in FTZ or related experience, with a Customs Broker License preferred. This full-time position offers diverse benefits and growth opportunities with GEODIS.

Qualifications

• 4–7 years relevant experience and/or education in FTZ operations
• Customs Broker License preferred
• Foreign Trade Zone experience preferred
• PC literate with MS Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint
• Ability to read, analyze, and interpret business and governmental materials
• Ability to write reports and procedures
• Ability to present information to managers, clients, and the public
• Ability to solve practical problems with limited standardization
• Ability to interpret written, oral, diagram, or schedule instructions

Responsabilités

• Monitors team productivity and assigns new FTZ accounts
• Establishes new FTZ accounts based on service agreements
• Initiates and handles FTZ start ups
• Trains FTZ team members to take FTZ responsibilities
• Reviews FTZ reports and resolves discrepancies
• Works with CBP and FTZ Board for setup, bonds, site visits, and ongoing security
• Oversees FTZ filings to CBP and inventory reconciliations
• Coordinates with Director Product Management-FTZ on milestones and communications
• Manages employees including interviewing, hiring, training, and evaluation
• Ensures time and attendance are recorded for the FTZ team
• Oversees on-site technologies and equipment
• Provides support to other stations as needed
